FATHER'S DAY BIKE RODEO

On Father's Day, Be A Better Me Foundation and Walking With A Purpose are coming together to host a special event celebrating fathers and father figures, along with their youth. This event promises to be a fun-filled day of activities and bonding, all while supporting our mission to empower and uplift families.

One of the highlights of this event is a partial bike assembly. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about bike mechanics and work together to assemble their own bikes. This hands-on experience not only promotes teamwork and problem-solving skills but also provides a sense of accomplishment as participants see their bikes come together.

After the bike assembly, we will embark on a bike ride through the park. This scenic ride will allow fathers and father figures to spend quality time with their youth, enjoying the great outdoors and creating lasting memories. It's a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bond between fathers and their children.

Following the bike ride, we will gather for a cookout. Delicious food will be served, providing a chance for everyone to relax, socialize, and enjoy a meal together. The cookout will be accompanied by music, creating a festive atmosphere that adds to the overall enjoyment of the event.

Registered youth will be gifted their bikes at the end of the event. This serves as a tangible reminder of the day spent with their fathers or father figures, and a symbol of the love and support they receive from them. For registered youth without a father figure, we have partnered with our amazing male community leaders who will step in and provide mentorship and guidance throughout the event.
